Description
Medium-pressure compressor for aviation, mounted on an extremely stable and robust single-axle transport trailer. The trailer is powder-coated in RAL 1002 and RAL 9005 and, thanks to the hinged doors equipped with gas springs, provides easy access from both sides for maintenance and repair work. Four lifting eyes and forklift pockets facilitate transport.
The compressor can be operated without problems up to a side slope of 3 % and a working height of 1500 m. The nominal flow is

4-stage compressor block, designed according to the state of the art, with each stage equipped with a safety valve and a 63 mm intermediate pressure gauge filled with glycerine.
100 mm final pressure gauge. Aluminum cylinders with highly abrasion-resistant gray cast iron liners, aluminum pistons with special metal rings for high efficiency and long service life. Free-running pistons in the 3rd and 4th compression stages, large stainless steel intercoolers (DIN 14571 V 4A), lubrication via a low-pressure oil pump with a Micronic oil filter (10 microns), and oil pressure indication via a 63 mm glycerin-filled pressure gauge. Micronic cyclone intake filter with sand separator.
LED lighting throughout the dashboard and controls. All monitoring and control elements are clearly labeled with laser-engraved aluminum plates in English and French.

Electronically controlled automatic condensate drainage, automatic shutdown when the final pressure is reached, one main air outlet with a 4 m long, highly flexible Kevlar hose with stainless steel connections, standard connection DIN 200 G-5/8", additional connections according to customer requirements upon presentation of a sample.
Drive via double V-belt.
Maintenance plan:
1. Inspection of the turbine with oil change of the compressor after 50 hours of operation.
Regular maintenance of the compressor and engine: once a year with replacement of the intake air filter, oil change every 2 years or every 300 operating hours.
Replace the dryer cartridge as needed and according to Airsave's instructions, at the latest after one year, otherwise the dew point can no longer be reached.
Drive motor:
4-stroke Hatz 3F45T, 3-cylinder diesel engine, 18.4 kW 25 HP, water-cooled, with electric start, electronic control, oil pressure control, temperature control, hour meter, cyclone air filter with sand separator, 60 l fuel tank with ventilation and additional drain tap, starter battery 12 V 65 AH with charge indicator and easily accessible fuse holder.
