Following several accidents caused by bursting pressure vessels during the filling process, explosion protection during cylinder filling has already become a requirement or standard in many countries.,
The IDE FILL SAVE 600 C safety filling station, made of high-strength “double layer” special steel with hydropneumatically controlled safety doors, protects filling personnel from bursting or exploding pressure vessels during the filling process.
The individual compressed gas cylinders are easily accessible in the filling box. The filling connections are automatically venting filling valves with safety filling pipes, flow stop and 0.8 m filling hoses.
A sophisticated two-hand safety system, controlled by a microprocessor, protects against incorrect operation. The entire filling system is operated via an intuitive electronic control system and pushbuttons on the control panel with the following range of functions: auto stop when the final pressure is reached, automatic electronically controlled condensate drain, Airsave Pro E electronic, sensor-controlled filter saturation monitoring.
The FILL-SAVE 600 C also features an integrated compressor with an air displacement of 320L/min.

High-strength aluminum compressor block with a forged crankshaft mounted in large-diameter industrial roller bearings, forged aluminum connecting rods with double-acting bearings, aluminum pistons; in the first and second compression stages, aluminum cylinders with NICASIL-coated, specially honed running surfaces; free-floating pistons in the third compression stage; special cylinder heads with reduced dead space; large, robust valves that ensure rapid air exchange, special, highly effective cooling via stainless steel coolers, and dual lubrication using oil spray lubrication and a low-pressure oil pump operating at a maximum of 3 bar when cold and 1 bar when warm.
