Stationary breathing air compressors
Stationary breathing air compressors are permanently installed systems for a dedicated compressor room – higher delivery rate (up to 800 l/min) and higher filling pressure (up to 420 bar) in continuous operation than the portable series. For fire station headquarters, dive centers, shooting ranges, and industry.
Design: SILENT and COMPACT for continuous operation
A stationary compressor runs for hours at a time in the same room, often next to offices or break rooms—which is why noise reduction is part of the design. The BAVARIA TSO Open Semi-SILENT is semi-enclosed, and the BAVARIA TSI COMPACT SILENT is fully enclosed—for installation locations where continuous operation and quiet are required at the same time.
Where stationary compressors are used
- Main fire stations with their own compressor room
- Dive centers and dive schools with a high cylinder turnover
- Shooting ranges in continuous operation (PCP/air rifle)
- Industrial users with high-pressure air requirements
Anyone working mobile and off-grid in the field will find the right devices at the portable compressors.
Inflation pressure and delivery rate: from TSO to TVS
The BAVARIA TSI COMPACT SILENT covers 270 to 450 l/min, the TSO Open Semi-SILENT ranges from 270 to 320 l/min. At the upper end is the BAVARIA TVS SC with 600 to 800 l/min and a max. filling pressure of 420 bar. The BAVARIA PURE POWER complements the series independently. Which combination fits best will be determined during a consultation, not through the product list alone.

BAVARIA is our private label, developed and built in Germany. In a fixed installation, besides the quality of the equipment, planning is also crucial: positioning, ventilation of the compressor room, and connection values are part of the consultation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a stationary breathing air compressor?
A permanently installed compressor system for a dedicated compressor room, designed for continuous operation – higher delivery rate and higher filling pressure than the portable series.
What does SILENT mean in the BAVARIA series?
Low-noise design for installation in occupied building sections. TSO Open Semi-SILENT is partially enclosed, TSI COMPACT SILENT completely.
What inflation pressure is suitable for which application?
Diving and sports applications mostly 200-300 bar, fire-fighting breathing apparatus predominantly 300 bar, industrial applications up to 420 bar (BAVARIA TVS SC).
What is the difference between stationary and portable compressors?
Stationary: permanently installed, higher continuous output. Transportable: mobile, can be used off-grid in the field.
Does a stationary compressor need its own room?
Yes, that is the rule – because of ventilation, noise level, and maintenance accessibility. We will plan the room size and connected loads together in advance.
Are the BAVARIA compressors suitable for fire departments and public authorities?
Yes, in use, among other places, in main fire stations. Details on fire department requirements: Fire department application.
Are stationary compressors also available used?
Depending on the model, current availabilities change – Overview: Used category.
