Filter capacity and filter service lives are an important issue, especially for professional filling stations that want to keep their costs under control. Filter service lives are temperature-dependent, for example: our TFI 720 with filter system FT 610 has a filter service life of approx. 45 hours at a filter wall temperature of 20 °C, and only approx. 16 hours at 35 °C. If the compressed air is cooled down from e.g. 35 °C to 3 °C before the final water separator, the filter service lives are extended to approx. 110 hours. Our tried-and-tested high-pressure refrigerant dryers, which are in use all over the world, pay for themselves within a very short time thanks to the saved costs for dryer cartridges. To monitor the exact filter condition, we recommend using our AIRSAVE dryer monitoring system.
